Legal Structure & Ownership
The Eight Condominium

The Eight was designed from the very beginning as a fully legally registered Foreign Freehold Condominium in accordance with the Thai Condominium Act. The objective is to provide international buyers with legally secure, permanent ownership including an individual Chanote title.

The project is located on two adjoining Chanote land plots, which together form the entire project area. Both plots are owned by the Thai development company specifically established for this project, Eight Administration Co., Ltd. This company acts as the owner and developer of the project and is managed by international investors.

The Chanote land titles transparently document that the plots were previously owned by our established development company DVW Development Co., Ltd. and were subsequently properly transferred to the project company. This structure ensures a clear and traceable chain of ownership.

The building was planned from the outset in accordance with legal requirements to be officially registered as a condominium with the Thai Land Department upon completion. After successful registration, each unit receives an individual Chanote title, enabling full Freehold ownership.

Under Thai law, 49% of the total residential area is designated for foreign Freehold ownership, while the remaining 51% remains owned by the project company. This structure fully complies with legal regulations and ensures legal security for international buyers.

Throughout the entire planning and approval phase, we work closely with the responsible Tessaban (Municipality) and the relevant authorities to ensure that all legal, technical, and administrative requirements are fully met.

The Eight therefore represents a transparent ownership structure, legally secure registration, and sustainable value stability – developed by an experienced international developer team with proven project experience on Koh Samui.
